Today Igor Soloviev has prepared a gift for all Avengers fans
- a first Russian-language video review about The Avengers.

since 4th January 2019 will continue to work on his unfinished fanfic "Finger of Fate".

Dmitry Matveyev, who voiced John Steed in the TV transmission of the series The Avengers in Russia and
some other countries, died the day before yesterday, at the age of 65. Dmitry introduced us to an
unforgettable sophisticated and refined hero, a gentleman with a sharp mind and pleasant inner charisma. It is largely
thanks to Dmitry Matveyev that John Steed entered the hearts of Russian TV viewers. EVERLASTING MEMORY!

Big Finish announced yesterday that, in agreement with StudioCanal, will release three new audiobooks, based on comics - this time from the UK weekly TV Comic. Each new audiobook is planned to be released annually starting February 2019. The main roles will be played by the same actors who took part in the previous releases of the audio series by Big Finish. The "Audio productions" section on the Steedumbrella website.
The first audiobook "The Avengers: The Comic Strip Adaptations Volume 03" will contain

Big Finish announced yesterday that the release of the audiobook "Too Many Targets" will be postponed until September this year.

Today the British company Unstoppable Cards has started selling "Yearset 2018" card sets.
The contents of each box are slightly different, but the whole set consists of six promo cards for the upcoming "The Avengers: The Complete Collection", two autographed cards from the series's performers and three cards from "The Women of The Avengers" (2014). The book includes both the contents of the mentioned website and other information (production notes, personal research of the author of the book, short biographies of guest actors, a detailed look at the recently found episode "Tunnel of Fear", etc.).

Recently it became known that Shane Black (known as the screenwriter for Lethal Weapon, The Last Boy Scout and Last Action Hero - also played in the film Predator with Schwarzenegger) and Fred Dekker (the screenwriter and director) are working on a script for the new film about John Steed and Emma Peel, which is likely to be distributed again by Warner Bros. (in the past took over the project in the 1990s).
