Steedumbrella: Back in Avengerworld
After a string of failures with free hostings, the
view on such services was revised. The website
has moved to the paid hosting Fornex.com
Steedumbrella website ONLINE
The main issue of the new place of residence was the choice of the domain.
I decided to stick with the RU domain, since the website is not only Russian-language, but also pursues the popularization of the series in modern Russia. On the former hosting, the Steedumbrella received the main attention abroad, and in Russia it was possible to reach it either by a random search method and not in all search engines, or by clicking on links on certain resources. Now the situation is different, the website is accessible through all major Russian-language search engines, and abroad information about the resource passes through the international Avengers forum.
A flash video was prepared specifically for the return of Steedumbrella and is posted on the home page of the website. In addition, some page addresses and design elements have been changed. All episode pages will now contain Flash TV. At the moment, Flash TV is on all episode pages with Emma Peel, and now is working on the series with Tara King.
What's new?
Recent American comics "Punchlines and Proposals" and "What They Do" from the "Steed and Mrs. Peel" magazine series have been published. Unfortunately, the comic book author stated that these are the latest editions.
Published a new page, "Other Works: Ian Hendry", and the "Casting: Venus Smith" page has been completely rewritten with the addition of images.
Work is being prepared on the "Audio Series" section (at the moment the "Link" page is published in the section) and on a "Stage" section for all the main performers of the series.
The following pages have been updated: "Super8": France (added a magazine note), "Fiction: Portugal" ("O Pato Morto" book cover added), CD audiobooks: Honor Blackman and Joanna Lumley (audiobooks added), a cover of the Spanish video cassette "The New Avengers" from the 1980s,, music media covers with images of the main characters of the series (album cover of "Larceny" group has been added), Julie Stevens filmography (works added), "Diana Rigg Awards " page (updated and revised) and "WUCB fanzine" page (covers and information added to many editions - thanks to J. Ferguson).
